Presentation - The Bistrot

Prudence Cauvin and her team welcome you in the cosy surroundings of this family run bistrot: an original zinc bar decorated with early XXth century pichets, a wooden oak floor, rare enamel plates, period framed posters coupled with family pictures dating back as far as 1901 are amongst the curiosities that you will find in our Restaurant.

Enjoy a real bistrot meal too: Homemade duck liver paté, Burgundy snails in garlic butter, White Veal Head direct from Lyon, Fresh oysters from our coasts, Roasted sea bream, Home made crumbles,...We source ingredients from quality local suppliers.

The wine list is worth checking out too, most of our wines are purchased directly from the producers. Of course, Les Maraichers being a real Bistrot, our house wine is Beaujolais (Gamay grape) produced by our now friend Bernard Jaffre.

you will find our Restaurant in the heart of the city opposite Joan of Arc's Church on the old market Square.

Booking is adviced either by phone or using our online booking form.

For more information please contact Prudence or Sacha Cauvin.
